The Library
The Department of Computer Science Library aims to give its students the best possible support for their studies. It is open to members of the Department 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It also provides a quiet study space for up to 8 people. The library is located in room 240.
The library collection has more than 12 000 books dedicated specifically to Computer Science and related research areas. All recommended core textbooks for the courses, along with the books recommended for further reading, are available for loan from our Library.
Reader services include help with finding e-resources, arranging inter-library loans, and acquiring new acquisitions on request. For inter-library loans or any questions you may have please contact the Librarian by email at library@cs.ox.ac.uk or in person Monday to Friday between 12.30-16.30 pm. Access guide
The University provides an access guide which is an online guide to the accessibility of the University's buildings, departments, gardens, galleries and museums. On their website you can find the Department of Computer Science access guide.
Video tours
The video tour series of the department is designed to make the buildings more accessible by helping visitors plan routes around and between the department buildings. Routes covered include finding the Library, Reception and Lecture theatres.
