Research Sponsorship and Consultancy
Our academics work with a variety of industrial partners, undertaking funded research or consultancy for projects requiring their expertise.
Academics are able to take 30 days per year for consultancy work where there is no conflict of interest.
Contracts for this type of interaction are organised through Oxford University Innovation once the feasibility of such a partnership has been established.

For larger research ventures you may consider funding a research project, the costs of which will depend on the length of time involved, the resources required and the numbers of research staff involved. The University can negotiate contracts for this work and resulting IP is dealt with in different ways dependant on the nature of the projects and the input from all parties.
