A part-time Graphic Design Assistant is needed to assist with the design, artwork, layout and printing of any documents produced in connection within the EU/Technology Strategy Board CESAR research project within the Department of Computer Science under the management of Professor Daniel Kroening. Professor Kroening holds an extensive portfolio of international research projects in the field of software verification. This graphics designer/editor is required to apply a consistent style to the technical illustrations in a multi-author project book which may eventually be published commercially by a scientific publisher.
This varied and demanding role will require proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat), a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail and ideally some knowledge of the printing industry or academic publishing. This role would suit candidates who enjoy working within a team, are self-motivated and have great communication skills.
The role is available immediately and for 4 months initially.
