The Software Engineering Programme, part of the Department of Computer Science, University of Oxford, is seeking an Administrative Assistant.

You would assist the other members of the Software Engineering programme team in all aspects of student and programme management including:  module registration, the preparation of course notes and information packs, teaching room set-up, as well as processing and handling student feedback. 

You would be the first point of contact for enquiries, whether by email, telephone, or in-person, and would support the organisation of interviews for prospective students, and in the reception of students arriving for modules.

The successful candidate would have a flexible approach to their working hours, as this post may include occasional weekend working to assist with events, as well as being available to work additional hours at busy times during the year.

The post, which is a full-time, permanent appointment, has a salary on the University grade 04S scale (currently £20,374 - £23,585 p.a.).  This includes membership of the Oxford Staff Pension Scheme (OSPS), and has an annual leave entitlement of 38 days per year (inclusive of all public holidays and university closed periods).
