Description of entangled qubit states by measures
Abstract
Description of entangled qubit states by measures: as recently shown, arbitrary quantum states can be described by measures
on a certain non-commutative space. In particular, each entangled state of a composite quantum system of two qubits is given
by such a measure. The task is to describe entanglement in terms of the measure and to understand the notions of partial
trace, entropy etc. in this new picture. Extensions to qudits and/or more than two components are possible.
