Interests
My interests are in improving the efficiency of implementations of cell-based models of populations of cells, such as growing avascular tumour spheroids. My current work focuses on developing a parallel implementation of the over-lapping spheres model in Chaste. This will enable biologically realistic size populations to be simulated. I am also looking into different approaches to coupling and approximating the solution to continuum PDE models of the extra-cellular micro-environment.
