Interests
My research interests cover responsible innovation and human-computer interactions. Outside these areas I am very passionate about sustainable innovations and have an interest in researches and technologies build to tackle environmental problems related to global warming.
Biography
I am a cognitive psychologist by education, working in the department of computer science. I am currently working for ORBIT, which is the Observatory for Responsible Research and Innovation in the ICT Community. The project looks at promoting a socially desirable and ethical research in the ICT field.
As a project officer for ORBIT, I organize and help delivering workshops on RRI at many universities and institutions across the UK. Moreover I am the Managing Editor of the ORBIT Journal for Responsible Research and Innovation. My role also includes organizing conferences and events for the project. For instance, I organized the conference ‘Building in the Good – creating positive ICT futures’. The event was focused on AI and ethics and got together AI experts and policy makers. Finally, I have also been involved in other RRI related activities such as a webinar on ethics in ICT with BCS ( British Computer Society ).
