Biography
Nitin is a doctoral student in Computer Science. He had started as a Masters' student at Oxford on Commonwealth scholarship after graduating from the B.Tech program in Information Technology & Mathematical Innovations based at Cluster Innovation Centre, University of Delhi. Nitin's area of research involves machine learning for sensitive datasets with a special interest in healthcare technologies and quantified-self data.
Prior to joining Oxford as a graduate student, Nitin has interned and collaborated on research projects with IBM Research, Dalhousie University, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay and, Defence Research & Development Organization, Ministry of Defence, India
Nitin is currently interning at the Alan Turing Insitute for the summer of 2018. He is working on developing strategies for privacy-aware neural network based classification and training.
