Biography

I am a PhD student at Oxford University. My advisor is Prof. Dan Olteanu and my study is kindly funded by VADA.

I obtained my MPhil degree from The University of Hong Kong (HKU), advised by Prof. Nikos Mamoulis and Prof. Reynold Cheng. In the past, I also spent time at EPFL (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne), QCRI (Qatar Computing Research Institute), and Microsoft Research Asia.

Research Interests

I am interested in both foundational & systems aspects of Databases and Data Management. The aim of my research is to build practical systems preferably with theoretical foundations that manage and make use of data at scale.
