Biography

I am a PhD student at Oxford University, working with Prof. Dan Olteanu. My study is generously funded by VADA.

My research insterests are in both foundational and systems aspects of Databases and Data Management. The aim of my research is to build practical data management systems (preferably with theoretical foundations) that process and make use of data at scale.

I earned my MPhil degree from The University of Hong Kong, advised by Prof. Nikos Mamoulis and Prof. Reynold Cheng. I had been also affiliated with EPFL (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne), QCRI (Qatar Computing Research Institute), and MSRA (Microsoft Research Asia).
