Guest Lectures
Throughout the academic year we host a series of Guest Lectures allowing industry affiliates to give in-person lectures here in Oxford, highlighting the computer science based challenges associated with their industry sector and specifically in their organisation. Guest Lectures are an excellent way to promote interesting research and development challenges currently being faced, and can also be used as a platform to openly discuss potential research collaborations for MSc and DPhil projects.
Whilst speakers will inherently be discussing the benefits of working at their respective companies with a subtle recruitment perspective, this should not be the main focus of these lectures. Hiring and career opportunities should be discussed more openly with interested parties following the main talk.
