Sander Land

Sander Land
Interests
Cardiac modelling, focussed on contraction and electromechanical models.
Biography
I am a 3rd year D.Phil student in the Computational Biology group working on cardiac electromechanical models.
I previously studied at the University of Groningen from 2004-2009 to obtain my B.Sc. in Computing Science, B.Sc. in Mathematics and M.Sc. in Computing Science. During this time my research included extending an ocean flow model with an atmospheric component, analying the image classification performance of various spatial pattern spectra, and a content-based image retrieval system for dermatological images.
