I'm doing a DPhil in Computer Science, more specifically on image processing for semantic segmentation in medical imaging. The focus of my thesis is on integrating clinical intuition into deep learning techniques for medical imaging, meaning I'm investigating the machine learning pipeline and looking for any areas that could be inproved by incoporating clinical intuiton. In the past such areas have included ground truths, loss functions and the use of generative adversarial networks in semi-supervised learning.
More generally my interests lie in computer graphics, computational geometry and artificial intelligence, in particular when these are applied for the purposes of medical imaging. I'm open to working with all medical imaging modalites, although have particular experience working with MRI, CT, Xray and ultrasound images.
